Background:
Jordan grew up in the old town of Charleston. His childhood was happy and full of family love. He always had enough and never went hungry. His parents, Amie and Chase, were avid Christians and participated in church events frequently. As such, Jordan also went to church and found himself believing as his parents did. Jordan found himself absorbed in school, making B's and C's on the average. Jordan found difficulties getting along with some of his classmates, mostly those who made fun of him if he asked a question in class. One day, after school, some of the bullies ganged up on him and beat him up. After that, Jordan yearned for revenge and sought out the local boxing school. However, he was too young to being training. When his 8th grade year started, he tried out for the football team. Classmates started noticing him in good light, and the bullies who had tortured him backed off. He started to forget his lust for vengence as football and studies became more important. Jordan started his freshman year in high school as an offensive tackle. It was during football camp before his freshman year that he met Andy Beck. Andy was also a member of the football team, the other offensive tackle, and a rivalry soon developed between the two as they vied for a better position in the team. It just so happened that Andy was in Jordan's Basic Biology class as well. Jordan simply could not understand the concept of meiosis and mitosis, so he asked the teacher was he thought was a valid question. Taking the opportunity to scorn his enemy, Andy started the class jeering and laughing at him. The laughter seemed to torment Jordan, echoing in his mind. He felt dizzy, his arms slowly numbing and his breathing coming more heavily. He barely noticed the teacher scolding the students and attempting to console him. His brown eyes were distant and without warning, when he felt he could take it no longer, he snapped running from the room to hide in the boys restroom. Because of the incident, Jordan was unable to play football for two games, which hurt him deeply. The end of the season came fast, and Jordan was afraid that he would have another panic attack at a game. He was afraid the crowd would laugh at him, and his teammates would think less of him. He worried so much about what would happen if he had a panic attack, that he had a panic attack. Andy didn't help his unease as the rival taunted him, telling him that the crowd hated him and they were going to laugh at him if he ran away again. Most of the game was uneventful, the score stayed pretty close through most of the first half. During the third quarter, the unease had grown to a physical pain in his chest, making it hard for him to play to his potential. Finally, the panicking feeling got to him and, as he headed towards a defensive tackle, the urge to run off the field became too great for him. Without warning he changed directions and fled the field cowering in the locker room. The first person he saw when he came back around took his breath away (figuratively). Jenny Marcum, one of the head cheerleaders, was standing on the sidelines, a worried expression on her face. Soon after the year ended, they started dating, discovering that they had a lot in common. Also, the before his sophomore year, his brother Alex was arrested for robbing a bank and position of controlled substance. Jordan found himself hesitant to do anything that might cause trouble, especially with the law after he had to watch his own flesh and blood being taken away in a police car. However, his budding relationship with Jenny flourished over the following school year despite the disruption. Just before his junior year, Jenny and Jordan started attending various concerts, some of ballet (which Jordan hated at first, only going because Jenny wanted to, although he started to like it in the end. Somehow, he could relate it to football and boxing), but most of the concerts were for their favorite local band, Eaglesong. They played most often in a small coffee shop, though they attracted quite a crowd. Jordan started noticing an uncomfortable feeling with the crowd each time they went, although he tried to hide this from everyone else, succeeding most of the time. His senior year in high school was busy, made all the more complicated by his increasingly frequent panic attacks that seemed to occur over less intense situations. He had to excuse himself several times during concerts and church, almost not making it to a quiet, secure place to allow his panic attacks to pass. Jordan's mind increasingly dwelled on his panic attacks, often times causing more panic attacks. Jordan finally broke down and told his parents at the end of his senior year. Of course, they had suspected it, but they didn't know how bad it had become. Due to his panic attacks, Jordan hadn't had much time to think about college, whereas Jenny wanted to pursue her dream in dance and theater. She chose a university out of state which caused a lot of grief between Jordan and Jenny. He convinced her to attend a community college, for the time being, and she stayed for two more years, though their relationship became strained. In the end, she left him because of his "high maintenance" After this point, Jordan found himself losing control of his panic attacks. He sought the help of more than one counselor, but was referred immediately to a professional institution. After discussing it with his parents, it was decided that he should be admitted to the Gordon Marks Facility in August 2005. However due to the large number of patients residing within the building and a few beligerant patients, Jordan's condition only seemed to get worse. The head doctors felt that a transferal to Cherry Hollow would benefit Jordan because of its small size.

Personality:
Jordan is very shy when meeting people for the first time. After a while though he becomes warm and open to those he trusts. His panic attacks cause him to be wary most of the time, so he might seem distant at times when he might feel an attack coming on. Other than that Jordan is an easy going, fun loving kind of guy. He thoroughly enjoys a good conversation about almost anything. He tries to treat everyone equally, although sometimes someone gets on his nerves and he will try to avoid them if at all possible.

This journal is completely fictious, as is Jordan Rowley. It's all part of my vivid imagination. I have no connection to Vin Diesel, I merely use his image for this character.
